On 1 July 2026, the second call for proposals for energy efficiency launches with a funding volume of 9 million Euro. The Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism creates an attractive opportunity for companies to improve their energy efficiency, reduce operating costs and, at the same time, make an important contribution to climate protection.
The call is designed as an auction, meaning that the projects with the lowest funding amount per megawatt hour saved will be selected. Rapid project implementation is likewise rewarded with a better ranking.
