Concerns and incidents can be reported online or by telephone via our Ethics Helpline. Reports received via the Austrian section of the Ethics Helpline are processed by our Ethics Team. As part of the investigation, other relevant persons may be involved or the report may be forwarded to the responsible PwC network company.
Legal basis: Within the scope of application of the Whistleblower Protection Act Art 6 para 1 lit c GDPR and outside the scope of application of the Whistleblower Protection Act Art 6 para 1 lit f GDPR
Categories of data: The data specified in a notification is processed. This may include, among other things: First names, surnames, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, activity, position. When a report is submitted via the online platform, certain log data is also automatically stored (e.g. IP address, browser type, browser language, time of the report) This log data is used to improve the operation of PwC Ethics Helpline and is not tied to you personally.
Storage period: 5 years
Recipients: Cloud service providers, IT service providers (e.g. NAVEX), PwC network companies
Transfer to third countries: Some of our service providers and some PwC network companies are located in third countries. For some of these countries, the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision. If such a decision does not exist, an adequate level of data protection has been achieved by concluding standard contractual clauses and, if necessary, additional guarantees.
