Key steps in the company sale process include thorough preparation—such as optimizing the tax structure and crafting a compelling information memorandum. The next phase involves approaching potential investors, ideally engaging multiple candidates simultaneously to maximize interest and create a competitive landscape.

PwC leverages its extensive global network of direct connections to strategic and financial investors. Company information is only disclosed after a confidentiality agreement has been signed. Based on the non-binding offers received, the most promising bidders are identified and invited to proceed to the next stage of the sale process.

Once selected, bidders enter a comprehensive due diligence phase, where they receive detailed information required to prepare binding offers. In the final stage, negotiations take place with the preferred bidder or bidders, culminating in the signing of the sale agreement and completion of the transaction.
