Johannes Schmid completed his master's degree in business administration at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and is a certified tax advisor and public accountant. Schmid is also a certified auditor of co-operatives. He started his career in 1999 at a local auditing firm in Linz in the fields of tax, audit and payroll services before moving to PwC in Upper Austria in 2006. In addition to extensive national expertise, Schmid also has international experience. As head of Global Accounting, he worked for the Primetals Technologies Group in Linz and London for over six years. Schmid has two children and is a passionate skier and runner in his private life.
